In comparison to our last event at the very haunted Oxford Castle from my perspective this event was relatively quiet. The guests and the team worked very hard all night long to elicit some evidential paranormal activity and although we did get some very obvious stuff coming through it was not as much as I had hoped for. Nevertheless, we did get some very strange phenomena which I can find no real answers for. Down in the crypt one of our guests had a stone land by his foot after I had thrown some larger stones in the opposite direction. This was strange as it appeared to be carefully thrown when you consider where it landed. The crypt itself, although very eerie, was quiet, in fact it was very quiet Unnaturally so. We took the Ouija board down and worked hard to build up some communication. We did in fact pick up on 3 names, Tom John and Issac. One of these was thought to be a monk. Pam, one of our guests, seemed to attract a spirit who wanted to communicate with her but it seemed very unclear. We did, in fact, have quite a few returning guests at this event. This is always so good for us as they know how we work and they are becoming more and more capable of working within their own groups to elicit activity.

For those of you who want an action packed ghost hunt then you must join us at this location. You will be able to experience the attraction as it stands which is terrifying in itself. You will find yourself in the middle of scenes from the Exorcist, Freddie Kruger and other delightful characters from those well known horror films. You will then have to go back down into this location where many ghostly sightings have been seen with the memory of what you have previously witnessed. Although the first part of the event will involve actors the second part will probably be even more terrifying as the only people you should encounter will be those that lurk down there from the spirit world.
This is not for the faint-hearted but definitely for those who love to be terrified. For more information visit Haunted Happenings |

Great night at The Galleries as always. We had an interesting mix of a few old faces(!), lots of new ones and quite a few sceptics. A healthy mix. On the team were El - The Medium, Dean, Graham, Fiona, Andy and myself with appearances from Hazel and Martyn (our guest stars?!) After a whistle stop history tour we started El's Medium walk round which was fascinating. She picked up on many of the 'regular' ghosts of this ancient building and some new ones too which is always a bonus. We had our workshop in the base room whilst some braver souls went off with Hazel into the caves, where I believe there were several instances of activity - the cave never seems to disappoint. I took a smaller group into the large courtroom for quickie session of automatic writing. Although the session was all too brief we had several intereseting results which looked like hand writing and one lady's looked like three apparently disjointed letters.

This was my first time at this location which is always interesting. Only Graham on our team had been here before. Team consisted of Andy, Graham and Dean and myself.
Nice to see a couple of familiar faces within the group, and lots of first timers, some who said they were scared, but you know what., there was no sign of fear from a single person all night, everyone really got into it and gave it their all. It was great working with you , sometimes a real laugh although i'm not sure if that was why we were there!? I am a great believer that laughter lifts the energy in a room and can help get things going, cos if I was trying to contact from the other side i'd be attracted to the energy of laughter, just a thought. |
