In comparison to our last event at the very haunted Oxford Castle from my perspective this event was relatively quiet. The guests and the team worked very hard all night long to elicit some evidential paranormal activity and although we did get some very obvious stuff coming through it was not as much as I had hoped for. Nevertheless, we did get some very strange phenomena which I can find no real answers for. Down in the crypt one of our guests had a stone land by his foot after I had thrown some larger stones in the opposite direction. This was strange as it appeared to be carefully thrown when you consider where it landed. The crypt itself, although very eerie, was quiet, in fact it was very quiet Unnaturally so. We took the Ouija board down and worked hard to build up some communication. We did in fact pick up on 3 names, Tom John and Issac. One of these was thought to be a monk. Pam, one of our guests, seemed to attract a spirit who wanted to communicate with her but it seemed very unclear. We did, in fact, have quite a few returning guests at this event. This is always so good for us as they know how we work and they are becoming more and more capable of working within their own groups to elicit activity.

Up in the cells things seemed to be really kicking off. Jayne had quite a lot of activity going on up there and I have to admit to feelings of jealousy. It was not too much longer, before I began making my way up to this location in order to grab some of the action. Whilst in a cell with a few guests doing some chair moving (which was amazing) the wardrobe began to rattle and at one point this was very heavy. This was really freaky as the intensity in the room changed dramatically. Apparently there was a prisoner in there who had murdered somebody and I reminded him of that person (great!!!) I had a name coming into my head at this point and whispered this to Ricky, one of our guests. I then asked Jayne to give me the name of the person that she was thinking of and was astounded when she repeated the name Margaret. The same name I had given. We tried it again with another name of the male murderer but this time it didn't emerge. However, it was still incredible considering it was the first female now that she came out with.

We left there and I spent some time with 2 of our guests in another cell where nothing happened but it gave me some time out to hear of their experiences of ghost hunting which were very interesting.

I know that Jayne, Martyn, Yvonne and Graham all have their own experiences of the night which I will let them tell you about.

All in all I would say that it was a good night, not the most dramatic, but the guests were all great, each and every one of them. They all came with their own beliefs and totally respected those of others, working together for the same aim. What more could we wish for. The team were really good and worked very hard with our guests all night to bring them what I feel sure was a memorable night, not so much for the activity but for the experience as a whole.
